Birthday Card

When I saw the sketch I thought the front of the card was cut smaller than the base.  I had already created  a card for the challenge but I decided to try making what I thought it was.  I had a hard time putting it together, hate when that happens. I decided to post it only to get opinions on the card.  Hope you will share your thoughts.

Thank You

My daughter is in need of a masculine thank you card, so I searched for a good challenge.  I combined two sketches, Freshly Made and CAS(E) this Sketch.  Often I'm confused with what is allowed in challenges, some card are not even close to the challenge and it wins, so go figure.  I had fun making this one  and I think I did a good job mixing these two.  Enjoy!

Birthday Shaker

Cute sketch from Seize the Birthday challenge.  I wanted to create a shaker card for a class and this was perfect for it.  I cut my own confetti in several colors and sizes to match the paper.  I had in mind to stamp a cake inside the shaker but glued it all together before stamping. Enjoy!

Valentine

I had a couple of ideas for this sketch but this cute heart was my choice.  I used a circle instead of a square and placed the two bands behind it.  I punched a heart than a circle around it, trimmed a piece of a die to insert between the layers with dimension.  Enjoy!

Just For You

Got together with my friend Lili to work on a workshop we were both having.  The idea was to give the sentiment a less solid look, so I created my own ink pad using 6 different ink refills without thinking on how I was going to put together the card.  When I saw the sketch from PPA I knew this would be perfect for my already stamped sentiment.  This was not an easy card to put together, it was hard to come up with a color for the background, none of the colors looked right.  So after leaving it aside for a while, the Marina Mist was embossed, two Melon Mambo strips were added and some flowers.  Definitely, this was a team card idea.  Thanks Lili.   Enjoy!

You're just my type Valentine

Not sure how I feel about this card...too busy?  I wanted to use the sketch and this new paper that I thought would work well together.  I heat embossed the typewriter, dry embossed and used a couple of punches.  Enjoy!

Balloons

I like punches better than dies, and these balloons have a good size.  I clear embossed the balloons for some shimmer.  I like them outside the frame. Enjoy!

Masculine Valentine

Very happy with this card, I was able to create what I had in mind.  The lattice like background was made with Timeless Textures, used the crimper on the heart and an old sentiment. Enjoy!
